- Partnership formed with J.P. Morgan Asset Management to facilitate the acquisition
London, 17 November 2009, J.P. Morgan Asset Management is pleased to announce that it is acting as general partner, operator and investment adviser to a partnership formed to facilitate the Korea National Pension Service’s acquisition of 8 Canada Square, the 1.1 million square foot HSBC global headquarters building located in Canary Wharf, London.
J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s Global Real Assets group has a 39-year history of successfully investing and managing real estate and infrastructure assets on behalf of global institutional clients and has over $42 billion of assets under management (as at September 30, 2009). The group offers a range of investment products across the risk/return spectrum in the U.S., Europe and Asia and manages direct and indirect property investments in commingled funds and in separately mandated accounts.
National Pension Service is the fifth largest pension fund in the world, with over $229 billion of assets.
